Line Dance News June 2018
Another month of dancing has gone by – how quickly time has flown, but then it does when you’re having fun doesn’t it?  This month has been hot on the dance floorÂ
We have had some more new beginners joining our group which is great – thank you so much for recommending Dancezing to your friends! Our beginners have been learning the basic steps, mastering ‘grapevines’, ‘shuffles’, ‘charleston steps’ etc. Many of our beginners who joined us a few months ago have been able to make a transition into classes with slightly more challenging routines where they can put their foundations into practice and expand from there. It’s been wonderful to see such great progress!
Our Monday ‘early birds’ put in a request to learn ‘Havana Ooh Na Na’ after some of them saw this being danced at our weekend break in Corby and we have been working on this over the past couple of weeks. They have picked it up really quickly and it looks amazing already. Well done!
Our intermediates have learnt a couple of new dances that have gone down really well – ‘Vanotek Cha’ choreographed by Gary O’Reilly being one of them. Here’s a video
Another great dance is ‘I’ll Be There’ choreographed by Maggie Gallagher to a track of the same title by Jess Glynne which is a beautiful track
