Our ‘tropical’ themed Summer Social Night took place on Saturday 25th June and we were sold out! Dancers arrived in their bright colours, Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts and they all looked fabulous. If you would like to see all the photos take a look at our gallery page.

The atmosphere was fantastic as our fun loving dancers were keen to dance, laugh and socialise with each other. The program was made up of dances requested by our dancers, ensuring that we included all the favourites as well as including dances for all levels from beginner to intermediate. Sadly, time ran out before we had danced them all, but here’s a list of the ones we danced:

Electric Slide, Cha Cha Espana, Making History, Do Little Do, The Bomp, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Lipstick Powder & Paint, Solo Amor, Better When I’m Dancin’, Little Rhumba, Swamp Thing, The Bite, Pop ‘n ‘ Drop, Emergency, Nothing Compares, Something in the Water, Rita’s Waltz, Those Russians, So Just Dance Dance Dance!, Feeling Kinda Lonely, Tell the World, Feels Like I’m In Love, Tough Love, Little Red Book, Ticket to the Blues, Until the Dawn, And Get It On, Corazon Diamante, Coastin’, Islands in the Stream, Maverick Shuffle and Dancing in the Dark.

We had a raffle to raise funds for the charity ‘Ovacome’ and thanks to the generosity of our dancers raised over one hundred pounds.

Now we are looking forward to our next social on Saturday 22nd October!
