Back by popular demand!
Spend a weekend away in a hotel, enjoying great company and good food, seeing beautiful sights AND dancing ‘til you drop on a great dance floor!
We are returning to The Rockingham Forest Hotel in Corby for the third year in a row. After extensive research we know this hotel offers one of the best ballrooms we can find. The hotel rooms are clean & comfortable & the food is good.
It takes approx. 21/2hrs by car. The last 2 years, car shares have worked really well.
The program will start with a meal at 6pm on Friday evening. This allows sufficient time for you to enjoy your meal & catch up with friends while still leaving plenty of time for dancing the night away. Dance parties on Friday & Saturday evening & Sunday morning too, as well as workshops on Saturday morning – with instruction from Carol & me, with dances for all levels. The dance program will be tailor-made for you – including your dance requests, old & new dances & dances for all levels.
Free time on Saturday afternoon, gives you the chance to rest or to explore places of interest, such as Rutland Water, Kirby Hall & Oakham Castle. There’s no need to leave the hotel – the main bar area is a lovely place to chill out with friends & will be accessible to us throughout the weekend. Non dancers – partners & friends are welcome too. The hotel has quiet corners for people to sit & read or relax if they do not wish to join in with the dancing. We will also include easy dances that absolute beginners would be able to try.
This weekend break is run jointly with Lets-Danze & there is always a great atmosphere. It is fun socialising with your friends as well as making new friends too!

The cost is £150 pp based upon 2 sharing. (Single supplement charges apply). In order to secure a place we will need a completed booking form and deposit of £25.00, payable by 13th April 2018
Places will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis. There are a limited number of single rooms available, so they are likely to sell out fast.
