On Sunday 4th June, we took part in the Caterham Festival. While the Caterham Hill W.I. served scrummy cakes and tea to visitors at the Caterham Community Centre, we kept everyone entertained with line dance demonstrations. We also persuaded some brave people to come join us on the dance floor where we taught some dances like Mamma Maria and Cowboy Charleston. Everyone did a great job and we had lots of fun.

There was something strange in the neighbourhood……………….our October Social night had a ‘spooky’ theme. It was great to see our dancers entering into the spirit of the occasion. Our Summer Social night had a ‘tropical’ theme. It was great to see our dancers in bright colours and wearing leis. We danced to requests all night long and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was hot on the dance floor – we could easily imagine we were in the ‘tropics’!

Our Spring Social Night in April 2016. We danced requests all night long, including dances of all levels so our beginners, improvers and intermediate dancers were kept busy on the dance floor! A fun, friendly atmosphere 🙂
